A huge thank you and congratulations to all at Ticket to Ride, our guests from the surfing world and from Wavelength magazine who gave up their time to make this such a special event. Your enthusiasm, energy and patience was infectious and the atmosphere over the 3 days epitomised the spirit of surfing and the love of the ocean. Surfing until nearly dark (and nearly right into the car park at high tide) the young surfers were then spoilt by Seiners staff who were incredibly hospitable and welcoming, and provided much needed nourishment! The evening talks were a valuable educational treat and our youngsters came home each night tired, but buzzing and quickly fell into their beds leaving mums to deal with the ‘drying of wet-wetsuits before the morning’ challenge! Thank you so much and see you soon!

Rosie Caulfiend, Hurst College
We love coming down to Perranporth, it’s a great location, and they have a great team of instructors! Looking forward to bringing a team down to the Surf Championships!
Simon Tremewen, Housemaster Sherborne School
I came down for a surf and stay weekend, and then knew it would be an ideal place to run a school trip! We have 40 kids down here last year, what’s not to love about staying right on the beach, with active busy days! We are coming back this Summer, and it’s now a regular fixture in the schools calendar!
Ben Chapman, Housemaster Cumnor House
We ended up coming down 3 times last Summer, and are really excited about the Surf Champs!
Rosie Caulfied, Outdoor Education Hurst College
To be honest- I’m just a bit jealous. I wish an event like this existed when I was at school! Just to be part of it now is pretty exciting. The combination of competitive surfing, top coaching as well as an introduction to other elements of the ocean and beach lifestyle is a lot of fun, I can’t wait for next year.
